Driver Issues with NI Driver & S/W and ISG Driver & S/W

The ISG driver or the CMU driver is needed to run the ISG LightWise App.

The National Instruments IMAQ 1394 Driver is needed to run any NI tools.

The NI driver will not run with the ISG LightWise App.  The ISG driver will not run any NI apps.

From within the IMAQ software you can see the camera = if you right click it = you can see a menu for "Driver" and then it will show the driver = you can right select that driver and switch back and forth between drivers = this eliminates the need to do this through the device manager.  Remember if the NI IMAQ software shows the ISG driver the NI tools will not work but the ISG LightWise App will work.  If the NI IMAQ software shows the NI driver the NI tools will work but the ISG LightWise App will not.

You can go to the device manager and find the camera - probably listed under the NI listing.  Highlight the camera and do a right mouse click and do an update driver.  The ISG driver is found on our CD or on your hard disc if you loaded the ISG software there.

If you need the NI driver you can get it from NI directly.
