Description:

The ISG LightWise LW-1.3-G-1394, 1.3 Megapixel Area Camera provides a High performance 1280 x 1024 pixel CMOS Area Imager with high quality video and excellent response characteristics. The low cost and ease of integration into existing systems make it an excellent solution for a wide variety of applications. The interfaces to the Module are industry standard to provide ease of integration into target systems. Industry standard IEEE-1394 / Firewire™ interface is used. This camera features a full global electronic shutter and video frame rates at full resolution. Additionally, there is an on-board image buffer for up to 9 monochrome images. The camera is customizable for new interfaces, customer specific image processing algorithms, and smart imaging applications.

Modular Architecture:
The LightWise LW-1.3-G-1394 is designed to allow maximum flexibility and customization. Functions are logically grouped into a four-board system to allow quick-turn customer configurations.

Customizable via FPGA’s On-Board:
The On-Board FPGA allows for easy integration of custom algorithms and signal processing. Up to 1M gate equivalents and memory is available for custom hardware. This provides the user the oppty to offload high speed imaging functions from the host computer.
