If you experience Driver Problems try this fix.

Relative to the driver issues =>

Many times the wrong driver gets loaded.

The generic 1394 driver that ships with Windows is quite “sticky” and on many systems gets loaded when you don’t want it to .

Go to device manager and you will probably see the camera listed under “imaging devices.”

Find the camera and do an “update driver” and choose “install from a list or specific location (advanced)”

Click Next and then select “Don’t Search. I will choose the driver to install”

Click Next

You will see a list of available drivers

If you see the “ISG 1394 Digital Camera Device” you can select it here =

Otherwise

Click “have Disk” and a new window will appear

Then click “Browse”  and

then find the folder (“1394 Driver 6.4.4.133”) with our driver

or point to the CD and that folder.

Select “1394camera.inf” and click Open

The previous screen will come back with the file selected

Now hit “OK”

The previous screen will now come back and now you can hit “Next”

The driver will now begin to load.

A warning window will likely appear stating that Windows testing has not been done.

Disregard this warning and Click “Continue Anyway”

Loading of the Driver will proceed and then you can Click “finish”

And the proper driver will now be loaded.

You can close the update driver window and the Device manager should refresh and you will see the proper driver loaded in the device manager.

Now the ISG GUI software should work properly..
